Mediating Financial Support

This course is designed to teach mediators the important considerations folks must think about when negotiating financial support arrangements during the separation and divorce process.

Mediators will learn legislation, case law, and strategies on how to help people come to satisfactory solutions related to their support arrangements.

This course is recognized as Family Law training to apply to be recognized as a Family Mediator under Section 44.01 of The Queen's Bench Act, 1998.

All of our courses are also recognized as Continuing Education and Engagement with ADRIC and/or as training hours toward designations.

Upon registration, learners will receive access to the Slack channel for this course. Post your assignments/exercises and any questions you have to that channel.

To successfully complete this course, you must review all materials, submit all assignments/exercises, and attend four hours of LIVE Zoom sessions. Schedule of live sessions is within the downloadable materials for this course. Please register for any live session at least 24 hours prior to the session to receive the Zoom link to join.
