This is the full Introduction to Mediation, 6 Module, Training Program!

In this course learners will explore different processes of dispute resolution, the six-phase understanding model of mediation, workplace mediation and workplace dynamics, elder and estate mediation and intergenerational dynamics, Saskatchewan family law, family mediation and family dynamics.

The full 6 modules, though more than 40 hours worth of learning, is recognized as equivalent to the 40-hour National Introduction to Mediation course.

Individual modules can be used for specialty mediation training hours. If you are interested in only taking specific modules, please check out the individual module registration link.

Each module is comprised of recorded lectures, reading materials, audio/visual materials, written assignment, and video assignments. Learners are also required to attend 4 hours of live virtual learning sessions per module (no additional cost to register and attend live sessions). Upon registration, learners will receive the live session calendar to select which sessions they will register for and attend in accordance with their schedule. Learners have one-year after registration to complete all course requirements. Should learners require more time to complete the course requirements, they may request an extension from the academy administrator.
